Answered from 2 of your documents

Ask your lab what only your lab knows

Ask where things are, what was used, what happened and why. Vantaria answers from your own records.

  • Where is the spare aliquot of enzyme B?

    Freezer 2, rack C

    inventory.xlsx

  • Which antibody lot did we use in the last blot that worked?

    Lot C, diluted 1:2000

    Run 17 notes, page 2

  • What was the average yield across the March preps?

    4.98 mg, from 6 preps

    Prep log, March tab

  • Which cell stock did these results come from?

HEK stock 12, thawed 3 May

    Cell bank sheet

  • What changed in the purification protocol since last spring?

    Two steps, in version 4

    Protocol v3 and v4

  • Has anyone tried a different detergent?

Once, in run 12, and it failed

    Run 12 notes

  • Check the source

Open the page or table an answer came from, with the line highlighted, and check it in seconds.

  • Your numbers, as you recorded them

Values appear exactly as they are written in your records, and any total or average shows the rows behind it.

  • Honest when the record is silent

If nothing in your records answers the question, Vantaria says so instead of guessing.

When your records don’t say

What was the yield of the April scale up?

No answer: Nothing in the documents you can see answers this question.

Labs lose what they learn

The files usually stay, but the reasoning behind experiments, decisions and failures tends to leave with the people who did the work.

Visual transcript

Instrumental music, with no lyrics or narration.

0:00. A scientist moves on. What they knew goes with them.

0:04. Whoever takes over starts from their old notebooks. A sticky note shows a question mark.

0:08. The rest is in spreadsheets, exports and an instrument PC. The labels read “Spreadsheets, 100 tabs”, “Exports” and “Instrument PC”.

0:12. So a failed approach gets run again. Two run cards show Run 14, 12 March, and Run 31, 9 September. Both read “Anti-actin antibody, lot B”, “Western blot: no band” and “Failed”.

0:16. A grant or client report means digging back through all of it. A Progress report card has blanks for “Runs completed”, “Spend to date” and “Key results”. The pages are labelled “Notebook, p. 12”, “Budget sheet” and “Run log”.

0:20. A partner waits weeks for exports. And what is left in Freezer 2? An Export request card is marked “Waiting”, with a counter running from Day 1 to Day 17. A Freezer 2 label has a question mark.

0:24. Good software adapts around the lab, not the other way around. It starts from the notebooks, spreadsheets and exports you already keep.

0:28. Six product cards appear one by one:

Lab Q&A: Ask your records. Every answer shows where it came from. Tag: When someone moves on.

Protocol drafting: Drafts from what your lab ran, past failures beside each step. Tag: Failed approaches.

Literature search: Papers kept beside the runs they help explain. Tag: Whoever takes over.

Gap analysis: Where the papers and your records disagree, or go silent. Tag: Whoever takes over.

Lab analytics: Grant spend and project progress, counted from your records. Tag: Grant and client reports.

Lab inventory: What is low, expiring, and where it is kept. Tag: Freezer 2.

The line under the cards reads: Share a project with a partner, not a pile of exports.

0:40. Knowledge that stays with your lab. Request a demo at vantarialabs.com or email info@vantarialabs.com.

The Vantaria Labs logo is visible in the corner throughout the film and moves to the centre on the end card.

Before the next experiment, ask what your lab has already tried: Vantaria shows what worked, what failed and why, and where each was written down.

What your lab gets

  • Where your lab’s knowledge is kept

Protocols, results, failures and decisions from across the lab come together in one memory your team can search.

  • Where the next piece of work begins

Answers, protocol drafts and gap analyses start from that memory instead of a blank page, and the papers you find are kept beside it.

  • Where every result can be traced

Each answer and draft links back to the records it came from, so anyone in the lab can check it.

  • Where things are, what was used, what failed and why, answered from your own records.

    Explore Lab Q&A
  • Refresh, combine or draft protocols from your lab’s own history, with every gap flagged.

    Explore Protocol drafting
  • Find papers relevant to your next experiment and keep them beside the lab records they help you interpret.

    Explore Literature search
  • Compare published findings with your lab’s records, with sources and missing evidence clearly shown.

    Explore Gap analysis
  • Project timelines, grant spending and bench trends, counted from your records.

    Explore Lab analytics
  • Your stock on a map of your lab, low and expiring items marked, and drafts checked against it.

From your next experiment to your next grant

  • Disagreements kept in view

When two runs disagree, both are kept side by side until someone decides, and neither is silently overwritten.

  • Analysis against your own baseline

New results are weighed against everything the lab has done before, so a bad reagent lot or a drifting instrument shows up early.

  • A summary of every project

Each project has an up to date summary that links to the files, materials and results behind it. A newcomer can start there.

  • Grant and reporting support

Vantaria drafts grant applications, data management plans and progress reports from what your lab has actually done.

  • Knowledge of your field

Vantaria knows the vocabulary, methods and common pitfalls of your field. It is useful from the first day and becomes more specific to your lab over time.

  • Nothing to install

Each release improves the tools for every lab, with nothing to install or set up.

How it works

Vantaria works from what your lab already records. There is no new system to fill in.

  1. 1

    Bring what you already have

Upload notebooks, protocols, spreadsheets, slides, ELN exports and scanned pages in bulk, or connect the Google Drive, SharePoint or Dropbox folders where they already live. Vantaria only reads them, and your originals stay exactly as they are.

    Confirm what matters

Vantaria picks out the reagents, lots, instruments, runs and results in your files and shows you where it found each one. Your team confirms, corrects or rejects them, and anything that disagrees is flagged for you to settle.

Lab memory

The memory grows with your lab: every confirmed result, failure and correction adds to what the next question can draw on.

  2. 12 March

Failure: No bands in run 14

  4. 15 March

Worked: Lot C used in run 15, bands clear

    Run 15 notes

  • Failures are remembered

Failed approaches, their conditions and who ran them stay on record, so nobody repeats them without knowing.

  • What was true then

Ask what the protocol said in March, or which lot was in use on a given day, and see what has changed since.

  • Where every result came from

Trace a result back through the sample, lot and run behind it.

  • Corrections kept with the original

Corrections stay alongside the original record, with the history there to check.

  • When someone leaves

When a student or postdoc moves on, whoever takes over can search what they confirmed.

  • Owned by your lab

The memory belongs to your lab, and you can export it at any time.

Share a project with its history

When two labs start working together today, one exports data, writes up the background and answers the same questions for weeks. With Vantaria, the lab shares the project itself: why it was done, what happened, who did it, under what conditions and what was decided.

See how sharing works
  • Live viewThe people you share with see the project as it is now, updated as your lab adds to it.
  • SnapshotA read only view of the project as it stood on a date you choose.
  • Joint workspaceBoth sides add to the same project and see each other’s additions as they come in.
  • Lab to lab

Two universities on a joint project work from one shared memory.

  • CRO to pharma

A CRO delivers the entire project with its context, and the client follows progress on a live view without waiting for reports.

  • Lab to auditor

Give an auditor read only access to a defined scope for a limited time, with the history of those records there to check.

Your lab owns its records and chooses what to share, and you can export your files, confirmed knowledge and saved work whenever you need them.

Privacy and security

Your research stays yours: it is private from the first upload and stored in one region, confirmed with your lab.

How we protect your data
  • Data residency

Your lab’s data is stored in one region, confirmed with you before anything is uploaded.

  • Private to your lab

Vantaria staff do not open your records, and your lab decides what to share.

  • Your team decides what is remembered

Nothing joins the lab’s memory until someone on your team confirms it.

  • Export or delete at any time

Export everything whenever you like, and restore deleted files for up to 30 days.

Who it is for

Vantaria is for the people doing the research.

  • Academic labs

Keep the context of your work as students, postdocs and principal investigators come and go, spend less time on grants and reports, and keep your data portable.

  • Biotech and CRO teams

Move quickly without losing history, and keep methods consistent across programmes and clients, with the evidence to show it.

  • Pharma discovery and preclinical

Keep methods, results and decisions connected across long discovery programmes, even as teams change.

Questions labs ask first

Does Vantaria replace our ELN or LIMS?

No, it sits alongside the systems your lab already uses. Your ELN, LIMS, spreadsheets and files stay where they are, and Vantaria reads their exports and files without changing them.

Can Vantaria read from our shared drive?

Yes. Connect the Google Drive, SharePoint or Dropbox folders you choose and Vantaria reads them, read only, so nothing in them is changed. New files come in for your team to review, and Vantaria can post a note in a Slack channel you pick when findings are waiting.

What can it read?

PDFs, including scanned notebook pages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and text files, ELN exports and photos of notebook pages, uploaded in bulk if you like. Numbers are read the way your lab writes them, decimal commas included.

Who decides what becomes lab memory?

Your team does: Vantaria suggests what it found in your files, with the passage it came from, and nothing is added until someone on the team confirms, corrects or rejects it.

How do I know an answer is right?

Every answer links to its source. Open it to see the page or table it came from, with the line highlighted, and check it in seconds. If your records don’t answer the question, Vantaria says so.

Where is our data kept?

In one region, confirmed with your lab before anything is uploaded. Your lab also decides where the AI may work on it, and Vantaria staff do not open your records.

Does the AI keep our data?

No, it reads what it needs to answer your question and keeps no copy afterwards.

Can we take our data out, or delete it?

Yes, you can export your files, your lab’s confirmed knowledge and your saved work at any time, and deleted files can be restored for 30 days.

Is Vantaria available now?

Vantaria is in early access, and we are working with a small number of labs as we build it.

How do we start?

Request a demo and bring one real question from your lab, a handover you want to improve or a method your team keeps revisiting. The demo runs on example records first, so nothing needs to be uploaded to begin.

Bring one real question from your lab

A researcher’s question, a supervisor’s review challenge or a handover you want to improve. We will show how your existing records become a memory your team can question.

  • Walk through your records and how your team works
  • Follow an answer back to the page it came from
  • Find a useful first project for your team

The demo is private and runs on example records, or de identified records of your own if you prefer, so there is nothing to upload and no commitment.

You will speak with one of the founders. Meet the team
